My name is Jordanna and I'm an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. At Mindful Psychotherapy, my goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences.
I believe that everyone has the capacity for personal growth and change and I am are here to support you on your journey. I work collaboratively and proactively with my clients, and tailor my approach to their unique needs and goals.
I have extensive experience working with children, young people and adults experiencing a wide range of complex emotional and mental health difficulties. I have a BSc degree in counselling and psychotherapy.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). This means I adhere to their quality standards and ethical framework, for practicing as a counsellor and psychotherapist in the UK.
I also have a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive behavioural psychotherapy (CBT) and I adhere to the British Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (BABCP) guidelines, for practice as a CBT therapist in the UK.
CBT is an evidence-based psychological therapy recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), as the first line of intervention for many psychological disorders.
